Your Xerox copying machine has a variety of internal components used to print documents and either can cause serious problems if they stop working properly or dirty. Instructions
Clean the paper release blade

Turn off the Xerox copier and open the control panel. Remove any paper in the tray.

Lift the plastic cover door below the tray. Tilt the green unit paper guide to your side so that the paper release sheet is visible.

Dampen a soft cloth with alcohol, isopropyl. Clean both sides of the paper release sheet from left to right. Place the paper guide in place.

Close the plastic cover and close the top panel control.
Replace the imaging unit

Turn off the Xerox copier. Remove the plastic door on the front or left side of the Xerox copier, depending where is the toner and imaging unit for your specific model.

Lift the plastic latch holding the guide bar and push down. Grab the edge of the cylindrical unit image and slide it out of the copier. Discard the old imaging unit.

Remove the strip from the top of the new unit. Slide it on the Xerox copier and lift the guide bar. Push down the locking plastic.
Empty the waste tray

Turn off the Xerox copier. Press down the door of the waste tray located on the right side of the copier.

Grab the edge of the green waste tray and slide it towards you. Discard excess ink in the waste tray and clean the interior with a soft cloth.
